Due to its unique location, the Oasis hosts some remarkable natural features, for example oak and birch woods, as well as some neglected areas that have been transformed thanks in part to the Centre’s highly qualified employees and to its numerous volunteers.
Today, the LIPU Oasis in Cesano Maderno hosts an Environmental Education Centre, a 4km educational trail and an area of 3 hectares with didactic microhabitats that replicate typical environments found in the Groane Park.
The centre provides a rich programme of educational activities for schools, from nursery up to high school level, as well as an extensive calendar of events throughout the year.
