It has an altar with curved contours made of pink and black marble.<\/p>\n<p>The transept houses an altarpiece depicting the Martyrdom of the Holy Virgin, which dates back to the last quarter of the seventeenth century, as well as Saint Carlo Borromeo embracing the crucifix, dating back to the eighteenth century.<br \/>\nThere are also three canvases: the Immaculate Conception by the painter Antonio Andrietto, a Madonna with Child and Angels from the seventeenth century and an Incoronation of the Virgin in eighteenth century style.<br \/>\nAn oval painting of Saint Carlo Borromeo in prayer can be found in the sacristy, which recalls a Milanese style from the seventeenth century.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/qr.villegentilizielombarde.org\/en\/turistic-trails\/the-parish-church-of-saint-bernard\/chiesa-parrocchiale-di-san-bernardo-immagini\/\">Images<\/a><\/p>\n<div class=\"paginazione\"><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The building houses a number of sixteenth century works and seventeenth and eighteenth century pieces of furniture, which came from the demolished parish church and were placed in the twentieth century building.
