From an architectural point of view it is exquisite, adorned with beautiful wrought iron balconies and windows decorated with excellent quality crafted stone. The facade that looks over the square of the same name is enlivened by two octagonal towers, which give the building a castle-like appearance and most probably date back to medieval times.<\/p>\n
The entrance hosts the beautiful columned portico. In the courtyard there is a refined classicist sculpture featuring the Goat Amalthea with two cherubs. Inside the palace there are various striking rooms with high quality wooden ceilings, including the central lounge (now the Committee Room), the fireplaces, the main staircase and the large gallery where the municipal collection of paintings from the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries are kept, most of which come from the Madonna del Transito Oratory.
\nThe gardens behind the palace were redeveloped in 2002 and are now a public park, adding value to the surroundings.<\/p>\n
