Thanks to municipal redevelopment work, which finished in 2003, Arese Jacini Square is the perfect example of harmony between ancient and modern architecture: on one hand there is a modern lighting system, on the other new paving made of grey sandstone and cobbles.
The square has become completely pedestrianised and is one of the hubs of this small city, hosting many public events like the artisan and hobby market, which takes place every first Sunday of the month.
