This was the period in which new structures were created, the mental hospital was equipped with the new reservoir for drinking water, and buildings were designed according to the latest specifications for contemporary psychiatry.
Only after the Second World War, under the leadership of Dr. Riccardo Bozzi, was it possible to reduce the number of internees. The structure, however, underwent numerous modifications and semplifications of the original project, in response to new accommodations, transformation of many existing pavilions and the replacement of numerous facilities or service machines such as kitchens, laundry facilities, etc.
